staygold | My life revolves around my husband who has had Parkingson since 2002. In five years he has rapidly advanced to level four. We live in a small community and there is no support group here so I feel very alone in this. On July 28th of this year we moved into an assistant living apartment, this has helped us both, but there still isn't anyone here to talk to about this terrible disease. So I just heard about this web site on CNN and am looking forward to talking to others in the same situation as I am. |

Abeer | My brother is an MS patient, he is 40 years old and was diagnosed 12 years ago. It's a secondary progressive and now he's on a wheelchair and is suffering from a variety of symptoms including leg stiffness, general fatigue, bladder problems and weakness. He is currently undergoing sessions of a low dose chemotherapy, our last resort according to some doctors to slow down the deterioration process. If you have any recommendation please share with me I'll appreciate it. |

| lphjlh | My husband of 42+ years has been diagnosed with Shy-Drager Syndrome. I am seeking info from patients or caregivers who can share the progress of the disease. We have 3 adult children and 11 grandchildren. My husband started experiencing mild Orthostatic Hypotension a couple of years ago. It became increasingly worse & was coupled with increasing & constant neck/upper back aches. After multiple visits to the Dr., he was admitted to the hospital where he was given & passed every kind of test possible. He was finally diagnosed last month. Until now he has been in excellent health. |

aerotoxic | Early retired airline pilot on medical grounds. Diagnosed with 'chronic stress'. Subsequently found to be chronically poisoned with organo phosphates from the engine oil. Found many other aircrew in the same position - all suffering from 'mysterious symptoms'. Very upset at finding the actual reason and determined that others would not be similarly misdiagnosed. Decided to form the 'Aerotoxic Association' for the benefit of others. www.aerotoxic.org If you fly and are mysteriously ill, this is the site for you. It reveals the best kept secret in aviation..... |
