What is Wheelchair (manual)? A manual wheelchair typically has handrails on the wheels to allow the user to propel themselves; there may also be handles at the rear to let another person push them. Wheelchairs are used by some people only when going outdoors to reduce the risk of falls.

Top reported side-effects include: Feeling disconnected in conversations because I'm low profiled or pushed "ahead" of the group., horrible bruising on arms - this was a horrible experience - think it made things worse, Transision from the wheelchair to my legs is very difficult. I would stay in the chair always but I need to use my legs in order to keep them flexible. Walking is not very pretty but I do not want to give-up.
